Mngwa: Album Release Promo.

I and a visual artist Mila Karavai gathered our artistic energies to create something whimsical for an eclectic band Mngwa. It pronounces as [min-gwah]. We used polymer clay to create little pieces where each piece represented one of eight musicians. I photographed and assembled them in Photoshop to produce the collective portrait of the band. The final art piece went on promotional materials and merch. The release party was planned as a carnival and my challenge was to facilitate its festive vibe before the event. It felt only natural to create an interactive AR mask to engage the audience and promote the party not only before but also after.
